Dog Walking & Pet Sitting FAQs

GENERAL FAQ

  • Our passionate, caring team members are all hand-picked through a dilligent selection process, police and reference referenced checked, public liability insured and pet first aid certified. We all work a variety of shifts to maximise our availability and flexibility for you. While you will meet your primary pet minder during your Meet & Greet, other members of our wonderful team will be happy to step in and snuggle your fur friend if ever they are not available. This is to ensure your pets and home are in safe hands when you’re away!

  • For new clients who are ‘weekly waggers’ (book regular walks and/or pop-in visits) or new clients who are booking more than one overnight stay and/or holiday drop-in visit, we offer a complimentary meet and greet.

The purpose of our meet and greets are to help ensure that you are comfortable with the team member who is entering your home and caring for your pets.

It’s also an opportunity for us to familiarise ourselves with your home, and go through all the nitty gritty details about your pet(s).

Meet and greets are complimentary when booking regular services or more than one overnight stay or holiday drop-in visit.

If you’re booking services on a temporary basis, require a single overnight service; or perhaps you just require a second meet and greet, we offer these in three ways:

    1. Complimentary Virtual Meet and Greet via Zoom or Facetime

    2. $30 + GST 15 minute Meet and Greet

    3. Book a dog walk or pop in visit during which you can be present to meet one of our team.

  • Of course! We always try our best to squeeze in last minute bookings. One of the great things about having an amazing team, is that we usually have a team member available!

  • We sure do! We operate 365 days of the year as we know that the holiday period is usually when owners travel to see family and friends, therefore having to leave their pets at home. Please keep in mind we do carry a 25% or 50% surcharge for some public holidays.

DOG WALKING FAQ

  • Invoices are sent to your email at the end of each week. Every invoice includes our relevant bank details, and this is where payment can be transferred to before the commencement of the dog walks.

  • If you need to cancel a dog walk, please inform our team member immediately. We do have cancellation policies which can be found here – Policies.

  • All of our dog walking and pop in visits are offered in a flexible 2 to 3 hour window based on the preferred time you choose at booking; if your pet requires a walk or visit at a specific time due to medical requirements or unique circumstances, please let us know at the time of your booking and we will happily arrange something for you!

pet sitting FAQ

  • That is entirely up to you! If we need entry to your home ,we highly recommend leaving a house key in a lockbox at the front or side of your home. Coded padlocks at the side gate are also an option! In the event none of these are possible, please talk to us about another arrangement for home access and we can figure out the best method together.

  • We love all pets and care for most! We have experience caring for cats, dogs, birds, chickens, fish, guinea pigs, reptiles, rodents and horses.

  • If you have an anxious dog that suffers from separation anxiety, we would suggest choosing one of our longer overnight stay options or hourly pop-in & play visits, so your pup can have 24/7 care and supervision. We would also recommend booking in some initial dog walks, so your dog becomes familiarised with the team member who will be caring for him/her in your absence.

  • We do not recommend leaving your pets alone for a maximum 24 hours, so we will only care for pets that require daily care.
