Though we all love our furry family members, it can become difficult trying to exercise them as often as we like given our numerous work and family commitments. If you find yourself working long hours and not being home for most of the day, our dog walking service is here to help balance your dog’s needs with your busy lifestyle. We can provide you with great peace of mind, knowing that your dog is being well-exercised and is kept stimulated throughout the day.

Whether you reside in Brisbane or on the Gold Coast, our professional team is available for both regular ongoing dog walks and the occasional busy day when you don't have time to walk your furry friend in the morning or if you're staying late at work.

Having a great dog walking team allows us to be flexible, and able to accommodate for any last minute walks.

  • Owners can choose from 30, 45 or 60 minute dog walks

  • Dogs are walked in their local Gold Coast or Brisbane neighbourhood, and only walked with dogs from the same household

  • All walks are on-leash, except in secure off-leash dog parks with the approval of the owner

  • Dog leads, waste bags and treats are provided

  • Owners are always provided with updates and photos following the completion of the walk.

  • Dog walks are GPS tracked and displayed for owners.

  • Dog water bowls are emptied and topped up

  • Additional feeding, free of charge

Not sure if you’re a regular weekly wagger or non-regular furry freestyler pet parent?

To be classed as a regular pet parent, we require 4 booked services on a monthly basis. A combination of services i.e. 2 x 30 min walks and 2 x 45 min pop-in visits can be booked and still qualify for the discounted rate.


Please note: our weekly wagger rates apply after you have been with Happy Hounds for one month.


A $15.00 surcharge will be added for same day requests or those between 6:30pm – 6:00am. There is no additional charge for weekend walks. 
If you are not located in one of our usual service areas, you may be charged a small additional fee.

  • Dog having its poop scooped

    Poop n Scoop

    Weekly Booked Scoops $20.00
    Per Extra Dog $5.00

    As the name suggests, we pick up your dog’s poop! If you’re short on time, and can’t get round to scooping the poop, we can add on this service following your dog’s walk. We can also hose down any stained concrete or grass to help remove the smell.

    Backyard Dog Wash

    Small Dog - $20.00
    Medium Dog – $25.00
    Large Dog – $30.00
    Per Extra Dog – $10.00

    If you want your pup smelling fresh & clean after their walk, choose our backyard dog wash. We’ll give your pup a thorough wash with Dr Zoo’s natural calming shampoo, followed by a towel dry and brush. If you’d prefer to supply your own shampoo and conditioner, just let us know.

  • Post Walk Treaties


    PRICES

    $2.00 – $4.00

    Has your dog got the post-walk munchies? After their walk, you have the option of adding on a long-lasting, dried treat that will keep their bellies full for a little while longer. Options include: Beef Jerky Strips, Sheep’s Ear , Dried Green-Lipped Mussels, Moo Tubes & Dried Chicken Necks

  • Adventure Walks


    PRICES

    Additional $5.00 on any standard 60, 75, 90 or 120 min dog walk.

    If you’re after more than just a neighbourhood walk for your pup, we also offer park and beach runs ! We pick up your pooch and take them to the nearest beach or park for a fun-filled session of play and exercise. This is an individualised service where we can give full attention to your dog(s).

How Our Dog Walking Service Works

  • Get In Touch

    Choose how long you’d like your walk to be, how often per week and whether you’d like any add-on services and send us a message! We’ll be in touch within 24 hours to get you set up!

  • Bookings

    To get you set up, you’ll complete a booking form with details about you and your pet(s). We’ll create an account for you in our system and provide access via a Client Portal. We’ll lock in your upcoming appointment and you can make any future changes, add-ons or cancellations as needed.

  • Meet Our Team

    Before your first visit, one of our team members will contact you to organise a meet and greet. This is an opportunity for you to run through all the nitty gritty details of your dog’s care and for your dog to meet their new best friend!

  • Receive Updates

    We give owner’s peace of mind by providing regular updates and photos after each walk. Our dog walks are also GPS tracked so you’ll always know where and when one of our team member’s is with your furry friend.
